Constituition speaks:
Amendment I: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. -Relevant to 2014 Freedom of 1) Speech This is relevant to today because it allows people the right to speak. They have a right to their own opinion 2) Religion This is still here today. You have the right to practice whatever religion you want. you cant always practice it in your school but you have the freedom to go to whatever church you want and pray to whatever God you want. 3) Petition You can go petition about whatever you want. For example we are currently petitioning to get our food back. 4) Press we the people have the right to our social media. Although government is trying to hack into that and make our media what they want it to be 5) Assembly We have the right to assembly and discuss things if we want |
